Supporting So Janelle as their local production team was a soft reminder that good collaboration makes everything easier. Everyone involved was hands-on, resourceful, and quick to align—qualities that turn long shoot days into genuinely enjoyable ones. In collaboration with Producer Rhea Guia Castillo, So Janelle is a magazine talk show highlighting stories of immigration and representation, aiming to entertain and inspire the Filipino American and Global Filipino audience.
Our team took charge of the full on-ground documentation—handling video, photography, and the seamless sourcing of high-end equipment—to ensure the production ran as smoothly as the stories being told. It was a privilege to capture moments with industry titans who are shaping the Philippines today: from Margarita Nograles, COO of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), to our flag carrier Philippine Airlines. We also explored the visionary developments of Landco and Landco Lifestyle Ventures, and multi-awarded General Manager Bruce Winton of Manila Marriott at the Newport World Resorts complex by Alliance Global Group, Inc.The Takeaway: Production is more than just hitting record; it’s about operational excellence and reliability. We are proud to position X Meets Y as the go-to local production partner in the Philippines—providing the seamless, stress-free outsourcing experience that global productions demand.
At X Meets Y, we’re a small but focused media team dedicated to helping brands produce clear, compelling digital content. Whether it’s videos, animations, or ongoing social assets, we aim to bring creativity and efficiency together. If you ever need an extra set of hands or remote support, we’d be glad to step in and help keep things moving.

Had the privilege of serving as Director of Photography for Canva PH in Porac, Pampanga, documenting the heart-led work of Claudine Mallari Buan.
Her initiative—using Canva to create DIY photoshoot and photo-edited graduation gifts for her Aeta learners is more than a feature. It’s a reminder of how creativity, resourcefulness, and kindness can open doors for young minds who deserve every chance to dream bigger.
Being behind the camera for moments like these is humbling. Stories like Claudine’s spark hope, celebrate culture, and remind students that innovation doesn’t start with resources it starts with heart and imagination.
Grateful to help tell a story worth passing on.
At X Meets Y, we’re passionate about telling stories that move people and leave something meaningful behind. Projects like this remind us why we do what we do—to inspire, uplift, and give voice to stories that deserve to be seen.
As we continue our journey, we remain committed to being the creative partner that brands and creators can trust—whether you're producing locally or bringing a global documentary to life in the Philippines. When the story matters, we’re here to help tell it.

Always grateful for meaningful work with long-time partners. We recently produced the video episode for Sun Life Philippines’ Financial Literacy Podcast featuring the Bright Barkada—a project focused on empowering Filipinos to make informed money decisions.
Our team handled everything from multi-cam coverage to final post-production. Years of experience with long-form content and familiarity with corporate and financial topics helped make the workflow smooth, efficient, and fully aligned with Sun Life’s messaging.
Working with Sun Life since 2015 has been an incredible journey, and we’re thankful to continue being trusted with projects that inspire and educate.
Partnerships like this remind us why we do what we do. At X Meets Y, we don’t just execute—we grow with our clients. Every project teaches us new ways to align with evolving brand identities, adapt to refreshed directions, and elevate the visuals that represent their story.
Grateful to be a long-term partner trusted to deliver high-quality work, year after year.

Throwback to a meaningful project I was part of years ago — flying to Le Bourget, Paris with Jacquelynn See to help cover the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) as part of the creatives.
COP21 was a major global climate summit where world leaders, scientists, and policy-makers gathered to address one of the biggest challenges of our time: climate change. It was during this conference that countries worked together to shape what would become the Paris Agreement, a landmark commitment to reduce emissions and protect vulnerable nations. Being in the same space where these conversations were happening felt humbling and eye-opening.
We spent our days documenting sessions, side events, and key moments — including the presence of the late President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, who represented the Philippines alongside delegates from all over the world. It reminded me how interconnected we all are, and how important these global discussions are for future generations.
The schedules were packed and the hours were long, but I’m grateful to have contributed in a small way. Receiving a kind thank-you letter for the work we delivered during that first week meant more than we expected.
Grateful for experiences like this. A gentle reminder of how meaningful storytelling can be, and how fortunate I am to learn from every project I get to be a part of.
At X Meets Y, experiences like this reflect the kind of work we’re built for.
